For instance, if you're lighting up the rear of a vehicle like a ute, one light may be sufficient. For larger machines or vehicles requiring more widespread illumination, such as on the front or both sides, two or more lights may be ideal.

For boom sprays or fieldwork, positioning lights at strategic points can improve visibility and coverage, so a pair of lights may work best. Ultimately, the best configuration will depend on factors like the size of your equipment and the areas you need to light up. The choice between spot and flood beams depends on your specific lighting needs. Flood beams are ideal for wide-area illumination, making them a great choice for lighting up the back of utes, trailers, or any equipment where you need to monitor the entire rear area. They provide a broad spread of light, perfect for tasks like fertiliser distribution on spreaders or lighting up large areas around vehicles.

On the other hand, spot beams are designed for focused, long-distance visibility, making them better for tasks like spotting obstacles or hazards from a distance. These are ideal for mounting on the front of machinery, like tractors or trucks, where you need to see far ahead, especially when working in large areas or on rough terrain.

Ultimately, if you need wide, close-range illumination, go for the flood beam. If long-range focus is required, choose the spot beam.
